First steps ...

Today me and Bandit took the first step towards breaking him to harness, we long reined. He was a superstar, didn't haul me about, walked nice and gently, and stopped when asked and remained still until I asked him to walk on. I have been told to start "desensitizing" him using feed bags and the like behind him, and perhaps we can then move on to walking behind him dragging a tyre.

I am so excited about this .. didn't think I would ever feel happy again after losing my old friend in the middle of January, just wanted to share it with people who would understand the feeling of having the world open up in front of you again all because of a horse!!!
