first time hunting

ive just been invited to go out hunting first time ever!! D
will i be ok wearing...
tweed jacket, pc tie, white shirt, cream jhods, black boots and chaps, white numnah (my pony is grey) skull cap with black velvet cover and body protector
should i wear it under my jacket or over?
any other things i need and all tips are helpful

What you're planning to wear is fine and it really doesn't matter if your body protector is underneath your jacket or not (whichever fits best!) Keep behind someone who's horse you know will jump at first too. Also try and keep a reasonable distance between horses when jumping and don't cut people up! Good luck hope you enjoy it

don't forget gloves!! Black, brown or white is fine

have a chat with the hunt secretary (or at least make sure your friends have) so they know you're coming as some hunts limit numbers.

on the day, make sure to introduce yourselves to the sec and ask to be pointed in the direction of the fieldmaster, and make yourselves known to them and explain that you are new to it all, and ask them to tell you what to expect today and to let you know if there's anything you're doing wrong so that you can learn!

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll ahve a fab time!
