We recently sold our lovely 1990-something SWB Pajero and bought a 2002 SWB Shogun 3.2DiD
Today was my first trip towing my HB505 with our two ponies on board. What a different experience. The Paj was a good towing car, but the Shogun is so smooth and easy to drive, stacks of power and much easier to reverse. Also, unlike the Paj, which I always towed in 2WD, today, as suggested by Mitsubishi, I used 4WD. I have no idea if it makes the slightest difference, but I thought I'd have a go anyway.
The Paj is a great utility 4WD and I have towed a few thousand miles with ours, but I have to say the Shogun is much better.
I still miss the Paj though, it was such a character.
