This was Gunnar's first trip to the seaside. He wasn't too interested in going into the water, was a bit cold

He was and continues to be such a good boy.

This made me smile before even opening the post. I remember our girly's first trip. She loved it!

Beautiful pics. Did he love it?

Do you let him off the lead yet? Our dog was about 8 months old for her first trip and I'd never see her run around so loopy before!

Aw, he is GORGEOUS.....a very good boy.
Here is a pic of my boy's first ever trip to the beach, at the start of the year. If you look very closely you can see the special 'present' he brought me from the sea....whoops. Am still waiting for a threatening call from the RSPB!!!

Lovely photos and Gunnar is very cute, but I must say you look absolutely amazing - a totally different person to the one I remember!

He is such a cutie! And don't know why he'd mind the cold with that lovely coat

That's a lovely pic of you, him and OH - you should get it framed.

Which beach did you go to?

We have to catch up soon, maybe lunch next week or something??
Or more fun, how about I pop over and meet the boys at last?!

As somebody having choosed a spitz-breed five times out of seven, it's probably not strange that I find him adorable, but if I would have to choose only one picture, I'd still end up with three

My dog owning life started more than 18 years ago with a Norwegian Buhund, continued with large DobermannX, a Smooth Collie, before getting back to the spitzes with a Norwegian Buhund (she died January 2008) and a Finnish Lapphund (Jonna).
Jonna is now 3,5 years and had a litter this spring, and I only intended to keep one bitch (if there was any). There was 1 male and 2 females and I decided which one I wanted, but my mother and father (due to economy, I decided to buy a new house together with my parents 10 years ago) fell in love with the other bitch, so I now have 3 Finnish Lapphunds, but one of them is in a way my mothers.

Only thing is, that the bitch I wanted to keep seems to like my mother, and the one my mother wanted seems to have decided that she belongs to me...
