Your new girls are gorgeous!
Yes i am never going to that breeder again-!! i go to look for one baby and she brings out both for me to look at - they are both so different in way of going and personality (baby 1 has such a fabulous canter and sweet disposition and baby 2 has the fancy trot and is cocky as hell ) so i couldnt choose — it is a good job my husband is very tame!

Oh they are both absolutely gorgeous! What are your future plans for them?

Well I am currently building (literally) a competition yard, which is going to be a bit different and special. I have always dreamed of breeding, hence mares, but I'm hoping to champion the young rider (who has talent but no money) as I want to bring on a string of horses who are well bred, and with the help of some amazing coaches, get them out competing at top levels... The yard is also going to be run as a therapy centre for Mental health and neurodiverse people. So those horses that don't quite have the talent to go to the top will be trained to be bombproof along side the therapy horses thus making the perfect dressage horse for those middle aged women out there who have the will but not necessarily the nerve that once they had...

Sorry but you did ask ;)

That sounds amazing, and it's lovely that you are able to bring to reality a dream like that :)

That's quite an undertaking! I look forward to seeing your updates. Good luck. :)

It would be great to watch it develop. I work in paediatrics and a colleague and I often say we'd like to chuck it all in and run an equine therapy centre so please may I live vicariously through you posting about it?

Ooh how exciting. My big lad did therapy work for a couple of years and was incredibly talented.

And I am that middle aged woman you mention!!

Looking forward to following your journey and seeing these two grow up

Wow! This is pretty much the dream I describe to go with my imaginary huge lottery win. I'm another person who would love to follow your journey and live vicariously!

Gorgeous fillies too, I'm a fan of Miss Sassy Pants already.

Green with envy over here. The only way you’ll be able to subdue me is with regular foal photos and updates ;)
