My dog has had her anal glands emptied a few times, I was seeing a vet at my local practice, I then saw the practice owner who wasn't convinced this was the problem, he thinks she's just an itchy dog as she's a springer and has ear irritations seasonally, I then realised that she had been eating James Wellbeloved white fish and rice on and off since we'd had her, then we thought she might like a change (stupidly) so gave her different food. I think this coincides with her suddenly doing the scooting, and after my vet said that it made me think, so I did a bit of searching and found the above company, wondered if anyone has used their products. I managed to get hold of some of the salmon mousse on the weekend and she absolutely loves it, I've ordered the dry food and am waiting for it to come. Apparently the omega 3 is good for itchy dogs, I can't wait for it to come now ....

I hear that the salmon food is very good for dogs with itchy skins. Fish4Dogs are completely natural products and I have been impressed with the cod food for my dog that has a sensitive tum. Their treats are good too - bit smelly but only in the bag & not dog breath! :)

I have some of mine on it and have done for a year now. I did use the salmon & potato variety for a long time and they loved it. But then around the new year the bags I got the kibble instead of being nice and firm and slightly oily looking (the fish oil) were very dry and dusty, the dogs would not touch it. I switched to the sardine blend and most love it. The dogs seem to build good muscle mass without any fat build up. And they all love the fish strips.
