Following it being recommended in the puppy kibble post below, and the Royal canin debate, I had never heard of this food. Just been to have a look and registered to see what the prices are in the breeder club. It looks quite good and I might give it a go over the summer. Who feeds it and what do you think of it?

I fed it for a while after all of Dax's digestive/allergy/intolerance issues, until I was happy with feeding an exclusively raw diet. I still keep some around for travelling and use the salmon mousse and the sea jerky treats a lot.

I think it's an excellent food, personally - no fillers, no rubbish, fish is a good protein source because of all the oils... as a company the delivery is good and some of their offers are really good too.

As a complete dried food I think it's one of the best and loads cheaper than Orijen/Acana etc.

Ditto what blackcob said. If the raw diet doesnt work out , I would go straight back to it. I did use to have a good search on the internet to see who was selling it a bit cheaper (bizarrely Chemist Direct were a good bet!), but get the mousse and sea jerky from Fish4 Dogs

I highly recommend it. I came across it at the wholesale place I go to and put the puppy I have on it (she thrived on it). I would feed all mine on it if I never had 10 dogs:rolleyes: but then I dont have any health or weight issues with any of mine to have to change, but I do like puppies to have the best start, hence the fish4puppys. It is the best quality food out there IMO.

It's £32 for 15KG so it's actually a bit cheaper than RC and the same free delivery. We have 12 to feed :-)
I'll see what they come back to me with. Quite happy with current feeding but always happy to try something new. Thanks for the opinions!
I looked at Orijen, sounds great, but very expensive.

I tried it with my springer, she didn't like the salmon one, she didn't mind the sardine one, if you get the working one its cheaper still.

She gets tinned sardines in the morning now instead of the mousse and works out cheaper at 42p from asda, not sure how much they'd be in somewhere like lidl/aldi etc

Do any of these comapnies do a wet food? Our older dog looks at you and looks at his food with that deeply offended look on his face if you give him dried food. He willdo it with some wet food as well (in fact, he's never bloody happy!). He does however love stealing cat food and (in his younger days) killing and eating rabbits! How do you please an old, fussy dog though? Can't feed him cat food regularly as it is too rich. He gets some if he's being particularly choosy.

Honestly though i have never seen a dog give 'that' look, the sort of "well, if that's all you're offering I s'pose I'll HAVE to eat it"!

My greyhound has their salmon kibble, I'm pleased with it as he likes it, suits his tum and he looks nice & shiny, plus the 12kg bag it has lasted about same as 15kg of previous kibble so not bad value wise. I get it delivered from vetuk as its £14.50 cheaper than direct from fish4dogs for some reason.

Fish4Dogs do trial samples for not very many pennies- you could try that on its own, or with some of their salmon mousse , which mine adores but I personally think it has the whiff of eau- de -feline about it!

My two JR's have it, one of which is very fussy. It's the first food that he will eat without turning his nose up and they're both doing well on it.

Expensive though.

I didnt realise how cheap it is compared to JWB. B is currently on the Lamb/ Turkey and veg JWB which is even more bloomin expensive than the other one.

Def gonna get a sample and pray she likes it.
