Does anyone else wear a fitbit when riding?? I have an app on my phone that tracks my riding stuff but I don't know if there is any such thing for the Fitbit?
I've got the Charge 2.
I've only had it a couple of days and am obsessed with it lol :D ...sure the novelty will wear off !!! Got it to help me lose weight and get fit.

I normally take mine off when im riding as other wise it says something like ive done 20,000 steps! it doesnt seem to understand that im riding haha!

I wear mine to ride but I cancel the steps afterwards by going into the website and logging it as Driving under Log Activities. This deducts the steps, I have to do the same when I have been out on my motorbike. There might be a way to do it on the phone app but I haven't found one yet! It lets you put the calories in manually so you don't have to lose those.

Thanks...I use the App mainly but I will check out the website....

Can't find the bit for Driving or do I have to make that myself....and how does it deduct the "steps?

I have a basic fitbit flex, I wear it when i'm riding and it is actually very accurate, i did a 4.6 mile hack this morning, used endomondo to track it and my fitbit suggest that for the whole day I've done 4.96 miles, which would make sense.

Download Drivebit. You activate it when driving so that the motion doesn't activate steps but you can also activate it for riding to discount the steps and then manually add riding for the calories.

My fitbit has GPS so set it to bike when I ride so it doesn't measure steps or at least doesn't assume you've walked but then you have a record or how far and fast you've gone and a map of your ride when you look online

I have a Fitbit Alta. I wear it all the time, don't take it off to ride as I use it as a watch as well. I just manually log my ride when I get back and it tells me how many steps were done in that time period, so I know how many of the days total were mine and how many were the horse. Would be useful if it took them off automatically when you log a ride.
It's useful for tracking activity, sleep, steps etc. I didn't get a HR one as I don't like having tight things on my wrist, and you have to have them snug enough so it can read your HR.
