Fiting a grackle noseband?

Ok so I got my new JW bridle yesterday and fitted it on P. I had to get a cob size due to the fact thAt he wears a 3-ring for jumping and the cheek pieces on a full are usually too big. My only problem is the grackle noseband???

Can anyone tell me where exactly the rings should lie? I know its higher than the normal grackle but just wanted to be sure.
I have the bridle with me so will take up to the yard tonight and get Instructor to fit it but just wanted to know

Note that the fitting instructions for being high up on the cheek bone only apply to mexican nosebands, and not true grackles. These don't have rings and sit differently as they are a true figure of 8.
