Just interested really, my boys entered for his first in about 3.5 wks time. Have just stepped up his canter work, so he's doing a session of canter work in the school (interval type training, school is 50x50) two hacks a week with trot work/small amount of canter work or a competition, and two schooling or lunging sessions a week.
What sort of prep would people be doing at this stage before an event?! Am keen to get him as fit as possible as he still finds it mentally tiring on occasions, so want the body more than upto it!!
