After retiring my 21yo horse from high level dressage (a few tests at Grand Prix) she has made it very clear that she misses jumping! She absolutely loves it, and it’s great to feel her so enthusiastic. I’ve just been keeping them low (60/70cm).
Is there anything else I can be doing fitness wise to help build up that “jumping muscle” again to mitigate impact and reduce the risk of injury? We unfortunately have no off-road hacking or access to fields etc which would be perfect. Thanks!
