Fitness Regime?

After having run 2 miles tonight as the start of my pre-season fitness regime, and feeling very smug, I was wondering who else is taking additional exercise and what they are doing!
BTW I wasnt even sick in the last 100yds!

Went for a brisk walk today (not fit enough to run and not inclined either!) Plus was out and about doing loads, making an effort to cut down on snack and increase exercise!
Does make you feel smug though!!
 
LoL! I keep meaning too, got to buy some new trainers first...

But money could be sooo better spent elsewhere!! So intention is (grudgingly) there....

I havent been doing anything. I just ride 2 every day, sometimes 3 or 4 if I ride other peoples horses. And I am doing interval with both of mine once a week at the mo as light limits me.

I have a jump lesson on them both every weds and I compete them every weekend now leading up to the event season.

I dont feel unfit at all but I did ache quite a bit after intervalling them both!!

Theres an article about rider fitness on eventingworldwide at the moment. Said he couldnt' believe how unfit riders are/can be even though they think theyr'e fit after all the riding they do!!

I skip for 20mins usually watching TV every day, hate it but it gets easier! Mary King told me that!!
 
Im very active and will run up to or back down from the field when I turn them out which is a decent run. Im always running around walking fast.

Have a very active brother too o will skip with him run with him etc without even realising im excersising!
