Five have Fun in Bedfordshire - Keysoe Report with vids

My threads always seem to bring out the battiest of the Mad Old Bags,

Hellooooo :D:D:D I'm just amazed you can persuade a, someone to do all that videoing in the rain and b, that they can keep the horse in the viewfinder with all that gin swilling around. impressive effort though-one is enough for me!

Whilst I am desperate to write something witty, all I really have banging around my head is the most deepest and utmost respect for you and your attitude towards everything you do. You really are the most amazing role model and when the drugs are all done and you are not radioactive and you are standing on the podium at one of the big Bs you should find all of your posts and collate them and publish them to show what PMA does for people.

OK, gushing over now, but it had to be said :) ...and seriously, PROPELL??!!!!

Blimey, Weezy, I don't know what to say. :o Thank you, that means a lot. Honestly though, all I'm doing is getting on with life and whatever it chucks at me and I'm sure most of the women I know would do exactly the same.

And Propell is now no longer on the CBs' menu. :p

Hats off to you - I don't know how you do it. Loved BFM's dressage moves and your closer inspection of the coffin. And Cal's SJ approach is interesting! I think it would be me needing the Propell after that lot!

You could never accuse me of only reporting on the good days, could you? ;) I certainly slept well that night!

N, I am late to the post as I have to wait for work to have enough time to read them and look at all the vids ;):D

Great report as always and I reckon you must have been on the Propell too, seriously don't know where you get the energy from. As always you are an inspiration to all, showed R the vids and she said if you ever fancy a holiday down South you can come and get her and her crew ship shape! :D

I'll forgive you for being late as it was work's fault. :p Propell always reminds me of Marmite for some reason, so maybe I should have that on my toast in the morning? A holiday down south sounds like a great idea. :)

I'm not sure what to think about this. I think that one of the two who had fun must be SF, who so kindly rescued Thistle's cake from a grisly, over-travelled fate.

The other of the two may be Jup, because he discovered a potential new career as a racehorse, and shot rapidly to fame for providing the Lesser-Spotted-Baydale-Misser (a protected species).

It can't be Cal, who found the XC far too easy and probably thought that it was not worth getting out of bed for.

I would consider Marty for no.2 because, as you said, the earth moved for him (!!) and he does look very cute.

But maybe it's you - fab report and thanks for posting the vids!

Oh, HotToTrot, you're very, very witty, maybe you should write my reports for me? :p

I knew everyone would enjoy the vids in a kind of cringe-worthy I-can't-believe-she-posted-those way. :D

Fab report, sounds like a positive outing all round. If only the Cheeky Boys would manage to behave for all 3 phases on 1 day! Good luck for next week, hopefully another confident run is just what the CBs needed before Richmond :).

Thanks, jumptoit, I'm hoping that the law of averages says that eventually, one day, they will behave for all three phases on one day. Oh well, it's a marathon, not a sprint. ;)

Oh hello stranger. :D All what gin? Don't tell me you believe what TD has been saying about me being permanently gin-soaked as we all know that's the pot calling the kettle black. ;)

Never satisfied are you Nicky those poor ponies are put under so much pressure......hahahaha I think not! They are certainly all living up to there cheeky boy names and have such swagger, I can see Cal and Jup just ooozing 'I know all about eventing already just let me at em'!!!

All looking stunning though and sounds like it was a productive day. Glad you are feeling better now with BFM and Doog says to him there is nothing wrong with having a bit fat hynie!! All the best bay horses have one!

Best of luck at Richmond and make sure you take care of yourself and your energy levels!! Some pro pell for you maybe?!

Weezy said exactly what I wanted to say - only she put it so beautifully...

You are inspirational - and darned funny with it!

Ditto this as well, :)

Fab report & vid's & good luck at Richmond, :D

Well done for going, do you ever stop......OMG!!!

Marty's antics at the coffin, were exactly what bob did to me at EMDG, except a bit quicker and i jumped the fence!! OOps! At least he was gentle with you!

Sounds like the cheeky boys are having fun this season too, they look to be really enjoy it!

Hope you are rested and recovered ready for the next ones :-)

STILL haven't had chance to see vids :( :( Hence not replying until now! However, did have a sneaky peak at some pics, and the CB's look fab, although you can tell Jup's been told off by his "I'll show HER expression" ;)

Well done though, that's a lot to fit in a day, and slipping off elegantly enough to be able to unhitch on the way down requires ultimate respect in my eyes :p ;) No more rib crunching antics purlease!!

Have fun with the CB's this weekend, and look forward to more entertaining reports... i've even started to get excited about going eventing again :p I blame it partially on your witticism's about your eventing "adventures" and as a result me wanting to jump on the bandwagon, though I reckon mine will be far more thrills and spills ;) :D

I know, I'm just such a hard taskmaster. You can see how they're crumbling under the pressure. ;) How is the huge Doog anyway? Will we be seeing him out and about BE-ing?

I've got the Baydale Seniors providing sustenance at Richmond so my energy levels should be tip top. :D

Yep, I flopped in a heap on the sofa earlier and have just woken up. :o

I'm glad I'm in good company, but maybe Bob needs Marty to teach him the gentlemanly way of dumping you. :p

Ah yes, the photos look ok but when you see the vids you'll see how bleurgh it all was. My outings always seem to turn into fun-filled adventures, why is that? :D

It's a nicer type of chemo though, not the up-chucking, lead-legged, take-to-your-bed variety. :D

I read that as the lorry-load of lows I'm having when I didn't think I'd been doing so badly. :( I hope you meant the lorryload of horses? :o

Of course I meant the lorry-load of horses you dafty! I started by typing the cheeky boys and Marty. Then I thought maybe Marty was a cheeky boy, so then I got myself in knots about which two were the cheeky boys and which one wasn't, so then I wrote lorry-load, because I presume your lorry only takes 3?!

ETA: I categorically do not believe you when you say there is a 'nice' type of chemo. ;)

Aha, I see your knottedness. :p Wait till we add a Cheeky Girl into the mix to confuse you further as the lorry can take 4. ;)

I think technically Herceptin is 'monoclonal antibody therapy' but I can find very little "nice" about having any drugs pumped, I mean infused, into me. :( Oh well, it's better than the other option. :p :D

Oh it is. :D Sadly that's the one drug they won't leave you any "spares" of in case you need it. :p

Man thats a bugger :p I keep wishing Tesco would leave me some spare Gin but that doesn't to be happening yet sadly :p :D

I do love your reports, they are ace :D I am still amazed at what you do, so amazed I told my mum about you (random I know), but it cheered her up when her chemo was of the nasty variety and makes her root for you now she's on the nice stuff too ;)

Bring on the Richmond report and more cheek from the boys :D
