Well that puts a new light on things if that is true.. maybe they got the date wrong as surely the bloodhounds would be out on the Sunday? whereas foxhounds were out on the Monday

if he rode every day for an hour and a half every day for 5 weeks thats as much as a one hour lesson every week for a year.

Thanks Nicnac it certainly got the adrenaline going and I felt like a teenager again. Wouldn't have gone had it not been for my wonderful mare who I knew would look after me and also a bit of grit and determination. Occasionally it does us good to be pushed outside our comfort zone.
