Anyone know what the costs are involved in getting a broken tree fixed on a saddle? I've got a fab Ideal event saddle, but the tree has just gone on it. Seems a shame to dispose of it - can you fix them?

£250 is the figure i've heard a few times... not sure if that's universally applicable though.

Think the figure varies (some saddles are put together more awkwardly than others!) Saddler would be able to give you an accurate cost. Stirlingshire saddlery are quite good as are Central but probably a bit too far away for you.

Get in touch with your local saddlery. They can contact Ideal and get a price for you - and a length of time it will take

Get in touch with Ideal and see what they recommend, they are based in Walsall
