Fixing rubber matting to stable walls.

We have had some wooden stables built and the internal walls are lined in ply.

I am going to line the walls with some thin rubber sheeting, I'm just wondering the best way of fixing these on.

What did you do and did it work or would you have done it a different way.

I screwed the offcuts from our rubber matting on the walls. It comes to about a foot all the way round. Just keeps the walls dry under the banks etc..

I used galvanised screws with large (3cm) flat washers. I tried to position the screws over the uprights in the walls to give them more purchase. Just make sure the screws are flush when you are done.

Worked really well, they have been up for 6 or so years now.
