My beloved Ariats have sprung a bit of a leak. I'm sure I'll be able to put some sort of sealant into the crack but not sure what to use. Any ideas?

That silicone stuff that seals baths and showers comes in see-through sometimes... no idea if it would last for long but it is very waterproof and slightly flexible.

If it is a join then super glue works well, for cracks on the top (I get them where my foot bends at the toes!) I use bike tyre patches. Not invisable but it does work well and is cheap.

I tried both of these to fix my hunters but neither very effective - so I have just bought some cheap new wellies for £5 instead!

Thanks for the replies. I'll give some superglue a try and if that doesn't work I'm sealing myself into them ready for winter :) I couldn't chuck them, it's only a tiny split on the seam of the sole and they're sooo warm! Bit disappointed they've split after 18 months though.
