Flash Bridles

Why are most bridles sold with flash nosebands or padded/raised ? I cannot understand why plain simple flat bridles are so hard to find and then expensive when you do find them . Padded/raised , the flash strap and loop are all extra leather and work that needs to be done to make them so why arent they the more expensive ? The plain , flat ones need less work and leather but they arent the cheaper ones ?! Confused !

I'm just as baffled as you! I was looking for a nice thin flat one, but I ended up getting a raised one as it was so much cheaper

Look at English Bridles, they do lovely flat ones with and without flashes and are very reasonable and good quality.

Found them at Hoys and have also mail ordered.
My wife loves the blingy browband option
