Flash or no flash?

My welsh pony 12.2hh, has had some issues, with holding her mouth still. As we have started jumping and doing fast work she quite often throughs her head and also opens her mouth. I'm not sure weither to get a flash. I'm never pulling on the reins, and my reins are always lose. Any friendly tips? Thanks

Has she had teeth and back/saddle checked? Have you tried different bits? And the fit of your bridle? Would a running martingale help?

Her teeth get done every year, like there so-posed to. And w vet has just been it so I think a martingale might work! Thanks!

Flashes are just a way to clamp the mouth shut and ignore the cause.
Solve it don't mask it.

Check teeth, bit, nose band. Saddle and obviously it could be she needs more training to teach her the correct way of going.
