If Armas is to post half naked pictures from the beach ride please my I respectfully request that he does not do it first thing in the morning when my sensiblites are delicate.

I used to love watching the YO in Belgium who had trained with Oliveira in Portugal working her young Lusitano stallions in hand and teaching them engagement via passage AND piaffe when they were 4 and 5.

Now what's this rumour about half naked beach photos :eek:

Does it matter greatly , happy horse ,happy trainer ,happy owner who makes great videos ( could do with him here) .
Possibility of distressing photos first thing in the morning now that's something to worry about.

H'es posting almost identical material across both sites, just with different usernames? I don't see the issue. I'm on more than one forum, and post under totally different usernames than here. I just sign up with whatever I fancy at the time. Looking back, one is actually a guy's name, technically. Although for me, it's just the name of the pony I owned at the time!
 
Delicious_D it really isn't good for you following these threads around and making yourself look silly. Its a shame you can't put him on user ignore so you don't see his threads and get so wound up over, pretty often, very little. Last time you got obsessed with a thread it ended up with you getting very upset, and it wasn't nice to witness. Do yourself a favour and step away.

D_D, this is a bit of a peculiar thing to have gone searching for, and is bordering on stalker like saying. Perish the thought should somebody post on another forum with a different name, of which you do not know the meaning of!
All of your posts that relate to Armas seem to be critical (and not constructively), negative and somewhat unpleasant. If you cannot get along with somebody, then you avoid them. This is what the user ignore button is for.
Your responses to Armas are becoming tiresome, and undoubtedly I am not to only one to feel this way. You are seemingly making a fool of nobody but yourself.


FAO Armas, beautiful horse, every time I see a video or picture of him he still has that 'WOW' factor about him. Just beautiful.
More please! :)
 
D_D just block him /mute him w.e all it does is show yourself in a bad light with this hounding type nature i am afraid :(
 
Lovely horse, obviously trying his best to do what he is asked, as he works at understanding what that might me. Personally, I dislike working horses on smallish circles at what looks like quite a fast trot. I think it makes it difficult for the horse to gather and balance himself, which in turn creates tension and anxiety for the horse.
But - each to their own. I don't know enough about high school movements to enter into the discussion about engagement being a cause or effect of a particular movement. But, the sainted Lady Sylvia Loch always says "take what your horse offers you, and work with that"
So, I guess correct training is based on interpretation of what is offered, and building steadily and calmly on that.
By the way, is Armas ever to be seen covered in mud/sand, or in any way other than show ring immaculate? And, finally, if you don't mind me asking, what do you and your beautiful horse do to have fun and relax?
 
Delicious D, did Armas knock you back in the past when you made an offer? Step away from his posts, you look silly and I do think you are an adult.
 
burmilla, I seem to remember Armas enjoys pleasure rides ,his rider enjoys them less , and then there's the naked photoshoots .....
 
I hack out a couple of times a week. Next week we are of to the beach for three days ! Armas has a good mix of work and fun.
 
Armas is as beautiful and majestic as ever. I really do love seeing your horse;)

Remain as dignified as he is and remember silence is a virtue - don't bite back! and enjoy your beach break :D
 
Firstly your horse looks fantastic OP, wish mine demonstrated a fraction of the talent, but he was "special"! I can't believe that yet another post has descended to a farcical level...I think certain people need to take a step back and maybe prioritise things in life a bit better...it's an Internet forum for heaven's sake for like minded individuals to chat, seek advice and share experiences. Last time I looked that didn't involve some kind of witch hunt! Dearie me.

Whilst my username suggests I am in fact a town in Shropshire, i feel the need to clarify it was the name of my first horse and some bizarre family tradition has led to all first ponies/horses being called this.
 
Popular to belief i am a hairy 40 odd bloke who works as a taxi driver my nickname is Tessy bear as i enjoy cross dressing :)
