Hi thanks very much for replying, I'm Stirling side of Edinburgh. Does Ernest base himself anywhere now that he's left Kingsbarn? Our school isn't up to much for lessons.

Yvonne McFarlane BHSI is now chief instructor at Kingsbarns. She is not taking on new freelance clients at their own yards but I'm sure you could take your horse over to Kingsbarns for a lesson with her. She does regular dressage clinics there. They usually have an ad in equi ads with dates for various clinics etc.

ED is only based at Ingliston 2 days a wekk, rest of the time he is freelancing although it being booked up quickly for clinics at various yards. His contact details can be found in the SNE and he answers his emails quite promptly!

Yvonne's been giving private lessons at the yard I'm at for several years. I really like her as each rider gets a lesson designed for their individual needs and she knows just how hard to push you. I have yet to see a horse thats not gone better after a few of her lessons. She has a wicked sense of humour too!
