Flatwork

My horse is quite stiff on the left rein, can anyone suggest any exercises that could help this?
Also exercises to get the horse listening and concentrating and exercises to keep flatwork interesting
I haven't had him long and is canter is quite messy, exercises to improve canter, he becomes very strong when cantering

The best thing would be to find a good instructor to help you, any number of school movements will help straighten him up, get him listening etc but if you are unsure of what you are aiming for and don't yet have the basics well established, which your post suggests may be the case , then they will make little difference, if he is crooked and stiff, not listening in walk and trot then things will be even worse in canter and it will not improve until he is straight in the slower paces, which is why you would benefit from someone there with you.
