I hear that Frontline no longer works so I'm looking for a new product.

I've just had an email from an online pharmacy that is advertising Advantage flea treatment and says its no longer prescription only. Does anyone have any experience of this stuff and does it work?

Ticks make me feel ill.:( I took dozens off big dog when we were in the Lakes. We have them here, rarely, thank God and the sheep at the yard seem to be free of them.

The creatures don't have fleas currently but I'd like something that works but I'd really love not to have to go to the vet for it.

I have used advantage but prefer stronghold:p
We have just started to stock prac-tic, not tried it.
I always rotate (frontline spray) and stronghold, I never use frontline spot on's. I never have flea problems and I have alot of dogs coming and going, any new dog in is frontlined (sprayed)

Dont forget to treat the house aswell though with whatever treatment you use.
