I am really struggling to get rid of fleas on one dog so I end up with a big circle of getting rid of them off all the other animals to get them to have them again off this one dog.
They have had the tablets tried spot on tried flea collars and sprayed the whole house and kennel outside has anyone got any suggestions I am ringing the vet on Monday again but last time we went he thought we had managed to get on top of them with her.

I have no help to offer but wanted to say I feel your pain! I just can't shift the bloody things this year. I've spent hundreds this year on Front line and house spray and they just won't go.
I'm literally at the end of my tether and no idea what to do next.
The house spray says it kills them for 12 months - I'd settle for 12 days at this point!
Not sure who's more depressed - me or the dogs :-(

It's horrible isn't it she's driving herself mad itching the others just don't seem to be affected as much so not sure why I can't get rid of them off her she's treated with everything exactly the same but it's driving me potty I find myself itching with her.

What tablets/spot on/spray have you used? There may be other ones that would work? Generally frontline, flea products, spray etc from pet shop/supermarkets don't really work. My boy suffers from flea allergy dermatitis and advocate has done the job!

Napalm the blighters. As Dobiegirl suggests, treat the host & any other dog/cat (regardless of evidence of fleaz) with either FL or Advocate. Hoover thoroughly & empty bag. Wash all animal bedding - if possible on the hottest setting. Worm all pets.

Will try advocate they have all been done with frontline and wormed can i worm again only done last week?
One cat has seresta collar on as he suffers with ear mites constantly if that works i may try one for her but and £35 ago i want to know if it works hopefully it will. Do they live in soil as she seems to like to sit under one particular tree ive sprayed it cant remember the name starts with an i? Wondering if i need to fence that off for a while or will that not help?
Thank you for replies so far its driving me mad

As others have said make sure you treat all the animal in the house. Use a house spray such as RIP fleas indorex, hoover the house first and spray every where pets go, concentrating on areas such as skirting boards. Repeat 3-5 days later. Try treating pets with a prescription only treatment such as advocate or comfortis (tablet, starts killing fleas within an hour). It's recommended you use these every 4 weeks. Good luck, they are a pain!
