Fleece under rugs

Hello,

I was looking at the Waffle Weave Rug on Robinson's website. ( http://www.robinsons-uk.com/products/Pro...03205#sku.52054 )

Does anyone know if it's any good? I understand that you get what you pay for etc but just wondered!

Don't like waffle type rugs as find the material a bit hard and rubs the coat, but I may be in the minority on this.

Girl on yard has the cosy robe combo on same page and it's brill. Don't usually like Robbies own stuff but this is a great rug. Will be getting one myself soon.

Completely agree with bigboyrocky, I use Rambo Duo liners instead. Different weights available depending on what you want.

Thanks all! I've not got a horse yet but anticipate over the next few weeks I will (fingers crossed) so just wanted to know.

Would a MW Combo on half clipped (clipped around girth area) Section D X be ok in this weather?

Really depends on how cold it is, does horse drop weight easy, feel the cold etc.

Maybe have a look at the Premier Equine site. We have one of their 3 in one rugs like the Rambo Duo but cheaper in their sale. It's been fab for our high withered, narrowish horse but I think would also fit a wider type well.

ditto this. I use a lighter weight turnout rug as an under rug when I need to.
