Does anyone own or train a horse by Flemensfirth? If so how do you find their temperament? Also has anyone any experience with Flemensfirth horses in anything other than racing? What are their strengths and weaknesses? Thankyou
I have worked with a few of them. All phenominal jumpers but very nervy. They really were one person horses. Once they trusted you they were grand. Strangley though not a single one of them bothered about being clipped but you drop a grooming brush next to them and the world is out to kill them!
The ones I have come across have been good jumpers and gallopers but quite sharp and strong minded. They haven't struck me as competition horses (quite lengthy and on their forehand and don't naturally work from behind).
