Flexi-Rack Trickle Feeder

I think they are a good idea (how slow depends on how big a gap you leave at the bottom, but I have heard of problems with robustness/longevity.

I think it depends a bit how slowly on the various ground eating options, mine's unshod so I've used ground hay nets unanchored.

I've seen them made with some wood and grassmats, which I'm considering trying.

I have some wood ones, two boards of marine ply fastened across a corner, high enough to be able to sweep under and with enough of a gap between them to tie a trickle feed haynet inside, looped through the gap so it doesn't pull out

I was just thinking about making something, almost a mix of the flexi rack and the stubbs munch station but hadn't thought about putting a a net in it! Do you find they have to twist their head to get the hay out of a net at low level?

No, it's like feeding off the floor but with some slight resistance
