Flexi reins

Anyone tried these? they sound really good, and not too harsh...

Thinking they maybe good for my mare to except a contact and relax a bit more (after i have changed my bit - see previous post)

ditto the above worked well with my mare who used to hang on one rein

I used them for my mare when she was younger as she would tank off with me if I gave her an inch of rein - they didn't work immediately but after a few weeks she was going much better and after about three months (I think, can't remember

) I got rid of them

I got some Stubben ones from eBay for about £20 but it was about three or four years ago now

I have had them for years and used them on a few horses from a speed demon who throws her head and grabs the reins to a cob who leans on one rein and i have had good results

VERY interested in this for spooky TB who leans on left rein. What are they? Are they like small pieces of elastic between end of rein and bit? What's the logic of the how behind what they claim to do?

I would like to try them but I am concerned that they would encourage the horse the bounce in the contact.

I use them for a horse that leans and really like them so far.
I got my new off of ebay for about £11.
