After some advice pls.
My horse has equine asthma and I've invested in a flexineb e3
Been really helpful and not used that many times but the medication cup is not working as well as it should, very slow .
I've washed as instructed and of course its a bank holiday weekend so can't phone for advise.
Any experiences on what to check, thought it could be the lead but I suspect the cup.
Its the grey one so expected a lot of use before replacing

Saline ,its really slow whereas it was fast.
I've read that the mesh can break however I've used the correct product and cleaned correctly

I’ve just nebulised saline in mine and it took maybe 5-10 minutes. Do you walk your horse whilst it’s on? That seems to make it a bit quicker. If it’s taking loads longer than that I’d say there was an issue. Is the plastic chamber full of steam?

I've found the cups to be a bit hit and miss, my first one worked well for years far longer than it should have. Next one was slow from the start then only worked intermittently after about 6 weeks. Current one seems to be working well, hope I haven't jinxed it. I find it surprising and a bit disappointing that there seems to be such a variation with them, it's the only niggle I have with the flexineb. All have had the same drugs and cleaning regime.

We have these in work I called them re the cup and was told to hold it up to the light bottom up look the the top where you would fill itand if there's a whole in the bottom even as small as a pin prick it won't work properly.

This could simply be caused by still having the needle on the syringe when fill and it has scratched the lining.

They also told me the cups were disposable so will need replacing often, the one had only been used a maximum of 20 cycles so not even a month and he just kept telling me they were disposable 🙈🤦‍♀️
