Putting in an arena and thinking of going with a flexiride surface, just wondered if anyone has one and what your opinions are of it. My sister has one but holes/dips have appeared possible due to incorrect groundworks but just wondering if anyone else had problems or comments as to how they find it! Thanks!

I have a flexiride surface - installed last year and great now the issues have been resolved!
These are my opinions on it:
- its a recycled product - shredded car interior carpet - as such they cannot guarrantee the quality - ignore what the website says! Mine was contaminated with sharp pieces of shredded metal - quite horrific risk to both horse and rider. it has taken nearly a year to resolve and get a usable surface.
- you need the sand to stop it riding too deep but this does mean its more prone to freezing. also it takes time to bed down and knit together especially if its only light use.
- its a pain to harrow - material sticks to harrows

Given my experiences I wouldn't recomend it.
