Flick versus deer....

Well after my post the other day asking what would happen, we met the deer again going around the nature reserve today

Luckily Islay was behind me (think narrow woodland track, brambles either side) so I just reached behind me and grabbed her collar. Flick was ranging about ahead and saw the deer disapear - she ran down the track a little way (not towards the deer, that would have been too difficult

) then came back when I called her

So that is one dog who is not going to be a problem I think

Good news! Lots of dogs are all mouth and no trousers - I remember Bella charging towards our dearly departed goat *gulp* the goat stamped its' foot at her and she reversed, top speed...I only laughed a little bit

As for the deer they have obviously reached an agreement over the festive season. Come January 2nd the gloves will be off!!
