Is it just me or something i'm doing to attract them or is anyone else eperiencing the worst flies in years? Just your normal fly, nothing exotic. I have a shire with sweet itch so he is in a rug any way but he is contantly covered in flies, and my section D and dartmoor pony don't usually bother too much with them are being driven crazy! whats going on? (im in worcestershire) Don't really know what i can do about it, and the pony has now developed hives, i can only assume it's all linked as he has never had a problem before.

Think it depends really where abouts you are in the country and what the area is like around you, areas that have a lot of woodland, shade, wetland attacts more flys.

We don't any horse flys on our yard thankfully, but you can go a 3 to 4 miles down the road to our local competition centre and all hell brakes out.

Power Phaser, it's the only thing that keeps most of the pesky little bliters away.
