Flies!

Hello,

As summer is finally starting to come around (yay!) so are the flies

I have two Labradors and the files do seem to bother them, has anyone got any tips or advice on how to keep them away?

I know you can give horses garlic to repel flies, would feeding dogs garlic do the same? I know that dogs sweat from there paws but and that feeding large amounts of garlic can cause a killing illness, but does anyone feed there dogs garlic and does it work?

Any advice or tips would be appreciated

Flyspray? I make mine, base is Nivea Oh so Soft oil, plus neem, tea tree, eucalyptus and anything else I fancy shoving in.

Thank you for the fly spray ingredients, what quantities do you use them in?

Bottle of Avon Skin so Soft, teaspoon of any oils to be used. I'd probably halve the oils for dogs. I add a few capfuls of dettol for the horse, but probably wouldn't for the dogs. Top up with cold water to a litre, shake well before spraying.
