As for that [****] bitch, I still cant get over the fact she kept me on the phone for 15mins telling me all about how she loved F so much, had had him for 6yrs etc, LIAR! I hope plenty of people read this and never buy from that evil witch.

She didnt give a toss who F would have been sold to, would have said anything for a sale. Cow.

Your Grandad is obviously a lovely person and Flint is a very lucky horse to be back with you again. (((Hugs ))) to both of you , polos to Flint and Haemorroids (sp) to the woman who tried to ruin him.

Thank you for the kind words- I do want to say though that as much as I appreciate the great words and comfort of your back together and he's in the best place (he is) I shouldnt make a drama out of a mole hill and that he is a lucky one and wasnt one of the horses from the HUGE rescue. I am not throwing it back at you- but THANK FULLY flint is HOME- It makes me wish so many could be too!!!

Here's to Flint and those horses- May a better life lay before them!

Hi

l dont post much due to being very shy but l read loads and feel l know lots of people on her.
l remember your story of when you sold him and how fab he looked.
He looks terrible but l am sure with loads of love and your lovely friends help he will soon return to his normal self.

Dont feel guilty we have all sold horses we loved for our own personal reasons, but love him, give him loads of polos and enjoy every minute you have with him. You are lucky to have been able to buy him back some of us havent had that choice.

looking forward to summer when l am sure the pictures will be of a changed horse

Blimey, I just had to comment! You need to put the past behind you and be glad that you got this boy back and can ensure he has a good future for the rest of his days. You just put your hand in your pocket and helped him, so well done you and good luck Flint.

I believe Pete was lacking time to do him justice and he thought Flint was going to have an excellent home with this person. He is a small horse but Pete is tall but light and they will be fine ,you don't need a big horse.
Unfortunately I think it soon went wrong as Pete posted he had made a big mistake and it was not as he thought. When Pete saw him advertised his heart was ripped out but things are going to be ok now.We all have special horses in our lives, if we don't then we are the ones missing out.

Yeah I rang the bitch and had a lovely chat about how she had owned Flint for 6yrs, done XYZ and with him etc.The sob story she gave about her selling him was unreal, I was biting my tongue so much it hurt.

I just feel so sorry for anyone who buys a horse from this woman, the amount of BS she came out with was unreal.
frown.gif

LOL she deserves one!

Its hard enough to buy the right horse these days without people like her lying through their teeth.
Its because of people like her that horses get passed pillar to post. Or worse.

I travelled up and down the country looking for a horse before I found Beau, and the amount of people I met that were just like her was unbelievable.
frown.gif

Shame she was so far away! Could have been a damn good wind up!!!
grin.gif

I just dont understand how people can do it- lie like that. I suppose that's why I'd never make a salesperson!!!
grin.gif

ETA- I had someone come to look at a 13.2hh pony once- via a judge who had seen her doing dressage. The people came to see her with instructor who rode her and commented on how well schooled she was. I then told the woman all the pony's issues! In the end the instructor said "do you want to sell this pony?" Well, the answer was, not really but she is wasted here, just dont want her passed on if she isnt right so may as well be truthful! i'd had her since she was a foal. I didnt sell her but the same people saw her at pony club camp holding her own with the big horses and admitted they'd made a mistake!!! She stayed with us till she died last summer!
smile.gif

LOL me either, I couldnt do it, Even if you didnt care about what happened to the horse (which I cant understand!), you would draw the line at putting people at risk.
frown.gif

there is no point. She gained what she wanted and that was money but I know now that she isnt welcome on one horse site (VVVVVVV lovely and understanding people) She is bared from one competition centre and friends of mine have made it clear to her that she wont be welcome on the yard he is going back to.
In all honesty I have let her know how I feel- I am quite free with my feelings. I have had no response so please dont buy a horse from Ms. Alison Cox in Kenilworth, Warwickshire.

I'm so glad you have him back. Being a happier horse will soon make up for the damage she has done to him.
It's stories like this that make me seriously think about hanging up my breeding boots; you always try to find the right homes for them but it doesn't always work out however hard you try. At least I'll know never to sell to someone from Kenilworth!
Good luck for your futures together.

I have just read this post all the way through and am just so happy you have Flint back... like The Carthorse said, we all have that 'special' horse, and he is definitely yours! I know it has been hard seeing him like this and knowing you sold him to this person, but please don't beat yourself up about it. She is obviously an expert at what she does (ie. lie) so you had no chance against her when she was saying Flint would have a home for life. If anything, this post has made more people a bit more suspicious...

He will look great in no time at all... He does look thin and his coat does not look in great condition, but all that will improve now he is home with you! You are both so lucky to have found each other again, and your Granddad is a marvelous man for what he has done!

OMG Flintus that really has bought a tear to my eye. Thank god you saw the advert for him and now have him back. He will be turned around in no time and you'll have your boy back. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have horses!!

Don't post much on here but read alot
tongue.gif
I have read all your Flint posts and am sooo pleased you got him back
smile.gif
I have had my horse 25 years and couldnt imagine him with anyone else but me! Lets hope thanks to your wonderful Grandad and good friends you can give your lovely boy a home for life. He is one lucky bugger!!
smile.gif

Poor Flint, she must've really tried to get him in that condition over such a short time. Im glad he's back where he belongs and hope he comes back better (and badder *winks* ) then before!! x
