FLIPPIN fARRIER!

Its taken nearly a year, but my mare is almost off sedalin for being shod. My farriers have been great. My YO has fell out with him and I text him to come and shoe my mare, and he said only if there are others to be done on yard. Well there arnt as YO using someone else, so despite my efforts to be loyal it seems I cant! I would do pretty much anything for 50 quid, boy how the world has changed, customer loyalty means nothing!! There, rant over!!

Seems he's cutting off his nose to spite his face! Where abouts are you, I can recommend a fantastic farrier in the Worcester area?

omg, think you are better off with another farrier if he is only after the money, that said if he is coming from a distance specially to do your horse i can see why he wants more work to make it worth his while using the fuel.

To be honest, 50 quid is very cheap for a set of shoes, especially when it sounds like the horse in question needs extra time and patience, so I can understand why it is probably not worth his while coming out to just do your horse. On top of that, he probably doesn't want a nasty atmosphere if the YO is around and they have fallen out.

Could you offer to pay a travel charge to make it worth his while to come out and do your horse on its own, or is there another yard that uses him nearby that you could hack your horse over to, to be shod?
