Flipping Yapping Puppy!

our little Scottie Jet is now about 9/10 weeks old and won't stop barking! when we're out she has a section of the utility fenced off and we leave her with her water, a chewy toy,the radio on and her bed but she just keeps on barking-for example when im doing my homework and can't supervise her i put her in the utility and keep the door open but she won't be quiet!
why is she doing this and how can we make it stop?!she's also partial to barking all night and constantly trying to nip people's feet!

yeah,sorry but we have terriers and its yappity yap barkety bark all the frigging time.

Maybe a citronella spray collar? They are quite expensive, but really do work.
