flocked or cair??

looking at a wintec cc jump for my boy as I think the tree shape will fit him better than my hawk event. (dont worry will get a saddler out when it arrives!) is there any real difference/benefit to flocked or cair panels??

I think it's a real marmite question! You either love flair (air flocked systems) or hate them!

Personally, I don't like them ever since I bought one and had it fitted by a saddler...horse was unhappy and tense so got another saddler out who discovered that one of the bags had burst and was essentially acting like a slow puncture. She said she refuses to fit them as she's seen some awful injuries caused by this problem. To be honest, I wasn't keen on it even before this problem was brought to my attention as I felt like I was sat on the saddle and not on the horse (if that makes sense?!)

On the other hand, I have a very good friend who fits WOWs and another who fits a differetn brand of 'air flocked' saddles and they swear by them. Each to their own!

definitely marmite, yes.

I dont like Cair, Id go for flock every time.

I much prefer flock too. Easy to make small adjustments. My boy wasn't overly keen on the one Cair saddle I've used.
