Took Flodden to his first show today, only a local country fair, one with fun classes as well as some serious ones and entered him in 3 classes, best puppy, best terrier and one the judge would most like to take home.

It was actually bigger than i though it would be with lots in every class.

He only went and won the terrier class :) not bad considering he is only nearly 5 months old. He had a lovely day, totally relaxed walking around. Met load of dogs. Had a couple of lovely snoozes in the sunshine. And thoroughly enjoyed himself in the ring. Trotted round happily and waited patiently for his turn to be looked at.

I know its only a little fun show, but we both enjoyed it and I was so pleased with how he took everything in his stride, fairground rides, food stalls, a fantastic jazz band, coconut shy and loads of people and dogs, he was stroked by loads of people, and played with some lovely puppies.

So pleased with my little pup :)

aaaaah painting and decorating ......... strange you should say that, he actually helped my plasterer last week, reversed at speed into a newly plastered wall, and left the perfect imprint of a bedlington bottom. I was so tempted to leave it, but the plasterer smoothed it out before I made up my mind.

The person I hoped to see at the show this past weekend who has bedlingtons in Devon was not there! So I will phone her this week and ask about stuff in your area re bedlington owners.

MM he reminds me of a soft toy as well and I live with him :) He has that lovely soft fur that squidgy bears are made of. My OH thinks he is like Sweep from Sooty and Sweep. I keep thinking he is like a soft toy rabbit I had as a kid. Zoisrus, thank you that would be brilliant
