Floddens new friend

I was given a foster dog on Monday, cosmo, a large 3 year old lurcher. He is only with me for a short time as he will be going to his permi home soon. He is lovely, has no notion of sleeping in a dog bed, we did have a big discussion about my own bed, as he thought that would suit him, but have reached a compromise, he has the sofa! Flodden is in charge, it is fantastic. they get on so well, not one cross word between the two of them. they will happily sleep on the sofa together. Cosmo will let flodden share his food, and bone. And then flodden simply steals them and eats them himself. Today Flodden, who has normally no real interest in food, managed to steal a chicken neck from Cosmo's bowl and ate it all, Cosmo let him. Its lovely to see Floddy wanting to go out and run and chase him.
