I live in north worcs, worst hit! Roads closed, bridges colapsed, mud galore!!! Brother just drove past a bridge down the road from us (supposed to be closed but he went anyway) about a foot deep with mud, bridge walls have gone! Bewdley (neighbouring town) closed, several villages under mud and peopled evacuated from houses in the night! And a bloody hellecoptor flying round at 2 this morning keeping me awake!!

Nothing here either - S Lincs apart from a thunderstorm and about 20 mins of rain yesterday evening and heavy rain about 2 this morning - bright and sunny here.

Sounds awful where you are

Nope, its looks quite bright this morning and the grounds not wet. Did hear it rain last night though but it wasnt too bad.

though I live at the top of a massive hill and my horses are even higher up, so it will be quite hard to flood us,lol

Horses are OK that's the main thing, just a bit misserable. They are slightly higher than the lane and other fields etc so they were fine, just the brook that runs down behind the shelters (about 10 feet below) turned into a river and flooded the lane, and 92 yr old man and his grand daughter had to be rescued from his house the the grounds of Witley court near my horses. Turns out the helicoptor was to a man and his dog down in the village, he lives in the old mill and the brook had burst it's banks, but by the time they got there the fire brigade had already got to them. It just decided to do a sweep of the area anyway (& keep me awake half the night!)Roads still flooded and cars abandoned everywhere, went past one that had water running down the inside!! Got away lightly by the sounds of it. Just one thing that worrying is where the little bridge is collapsed near home, the meadows either side have flooded and there are usually horses there?!?!

Wet and windy down here in Cornwall (so nothing new there!!)

Paddock far too wet for schooling/jumping, and roads covered in puddles, but everyone OK.

i was doing my weekly shop in morrisons in berks when the rain started to trickle in through the ceiling, and then the roof fell in!!!!!!!!

Main road through one of the villages in shropshire (not far away) was completely washed away - people trapped in their houses!!

Fantastic storn last night - My Dad's house a few miles away got struck and his alarm system is blown up.....
The yard is flooded - the tack rooms and bottom yard all in 3 inches of water.

Quite bad! The arena is flooded, and the road is about a foot deep in water in some places, which is wierd because we live on a sort of hill, and I've never seen flooding up here before!

Hi there sounds like you're very close to me I'm just up from Gt. Witley; r you talking about the little bridge on the Heightington Road? That's down as well. We just happened to be at PC with my daughter that night. It took us 2 hrs to drive 6 miles home and as we hit the floods along the Gt. Witley road the poor pony in the trailer was actually standing in water. When we did manage to get back to the yard the drive way was a torrent and we had to wait until it had subsided enough for us to be able to get the trailer through without being swept away. Hats off to my pony though, she took it all in her stride. I think we're due more this weekend!
