Anyone else going?

Taking my camera for a day out and Floors is such a lovely event, haven't been for a couple of years unfortunately.

Hope someone has the good weather booked :-D

Yes I'm going to for the Nov on Sat Number 497. I am usually pretty lucky with the weather and everyone always wants to go the same day as me so it doesn't rain, so fingers crossed I can work my magic!! :p

I'm going too! Early bird BE100. Really looking forward to it. No on site stabling. Racecourse stabling is literally 1-2 miles away though...but was a lot dearer than the local yards 😏

I'm going too on Sunday for novice No 522 there will be a few more competing from our yard.

Let's hope the weather improves I recall riding xc last year in torrential rain I'm sure there was hail stones!

But positive thoughts for this year!

Yip going Saturday with 3 friends and 4 horses hope weather stays good and its not cancelled. Dont know their numbers yet are they on BE website?

ETA found numbers 63, 11, 17 and 357

Just seen FB update that ground is looking good and drying well, weather says rain until Wednesday though? Is anyone near or involved that can keep us updated? :-)

Im doing my 2nd intermediate on the Sunday number 669. Seriously hoping it goes well so it is worth our 5 hour journey  How is the going/weather up there?

Very interested to know how the ground is/what weather is doing. Not competing unfortunately this year but will be there in the tradestands and really hope the weather improves as staying in a caravan when everything is soggy is no fun:p.

well was nice today, is meant to rain tomorrow, be nice on wed but awful for the rest of the week :( Unfortunatly i havent seen the forecast for the weekend but i hope its good, plan to pop down and watch a bit on sat while the OH mows silage. i can see floors from my kitchen window lol so have a fairly good idea about the weather

Oh, that doesn't sound too positive, although if OH if mowing silage must be expecting it to not be too bad?! Am I clutching at straws here? What a gorgeous view to have from your kitchen window:D.

Not sure now if i'm going to get to go, my boss swapped my day off to last sunday with the plan of going to Brechin show to help a friend. Unfortunately transport fell through.
So having to work on saturday night now, can't decide if its worth going for a few hours early saturday.
Nixxy where do you stay? My aunt and uncle stay over the river from Floors.

Showjumps went today and they drove on with big wagon no probs and said ground was great. Supposed to rain lightly all day today and tomorrow though so that may well change!

That forecast looks Ok to me :)
Do we think irt will still run?

Better had - I've only just finished packing!! The BBC forecast says rain tomorrow, but dry Saturday and Sunday. They have been ominously quiet on their FB page - no update since Monday. Heard the showjumps had left BD today - good news that ground was fine today, but surely it can't take much more?

Been raining quite heavily all day today non-stop east of Carlisle. Not sure about Floors, but it has been a very grey sky.

I haven't unpacked sice Auchinleck

The weather there last year was awful, wind and rain, I don't think it could be any worse than that.

It has gone very quiet on FB hasn't it

Fingers crossed to see you there.

I unpacked after Eden - don't like leaving stuff in caravan:). I was lucky last year at Floors - competing and was reasonably dry but think it got worse after we left. Don't want wind and rain:mad:

So do I start psyching myself up all day for the great big bath/plait/clean tonight in preparation for getting a run out tomorrow or do I head to Sainsbury's at lunchtime and see what bargains they have in the wine aisle as it will be the sofa instead while watching the rain fall?:)

3 degrees, minging rain and wind in May is that really necessary??!!:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

Hopefully the former as by the time you are bathing/plaiting/cleaning I will have wrestled with the stand gazebo thing and set up. Do not want to do all that to take ot all down again soaking wet:(. Hopefully see you there;).

Im about an hour away and it has rained solid for the last two days, my Met Office app on my phone is saying heavy rain this afternoon, just drizzle here at the mo. Fingers crossed, any updates would be fab!!

Soupdragon71, i will pay your stand a visit tomorrow!! :D

I think this weather is punishment for no snow this year... :( :( :(

Metcheck is saying 20mph winds for tomorrow and will feel like one degree due to the wind and rain :(
Being positive, I may do a sensible dressage test in that kind of weather :D

Yuck:( :(. think I need to dig out some gloves then! Luckily packed lots of warm clothes.

Don't know what worse - competing in that or standing about getting cold?!

It's quite a nice day here - well at least dry and vaguely blueish skies. Yes, we definetely got off too lightly this winter and paying for it now:(.

Hopefully see you this weekend!
