Florida hurricane horses

So watching the live footage and Sarasota already flooding - what do people do with their horses? Presumably they evacuate further north if not many horses (as long as they dont get stuck in traffic jams)? Do they move them to higher ground (not that there is much there!)? Stable them, leave them outside?

So glad we sold our holiday home there, we had to rush there after bad hurricanes to fix the house several times.

I have American friends A lot of them put ID tags with the owners phone number and let them in a field because they can outrun falling objects and run from danger . Some take the risk a put them in a hurricane safe barn and others move them to safer areas . It really depends on the person and what options they have.
