She does look quite tired and is very happy to get away from them and hide under the duvet :D Some days she only goes in there when they start crying for milk! (which is, admittedly, very often).

There you go CC, fresh from today...just to lower the tone of the thread :P

**fans Beezle**

You see, you might as well keep them, there's hardly anything to them, they hardly eat anything....:D

They really are teeny weeny, what do they weigh? If they are anything like whippets they would still manage to take up a large part of the bed when they are grownup.:D

Awww they are absolutely gorgeous FB, I still very much want Him but suppose Venice will be a nicer place for him to live than rainy Gloucestershire :D

Oh Gazehound I really hope it works out with the Venice man because I haven't met him yet, but he sounds so absolutely perfect :) And can you imagine an Italian greyhound amidst all the Renaissance palazzi of Venice, just too picture perfect to be true :)

MM, they vary quite a lot - from 400 grams (Daphne, the smallest one who is also the one we're desperate to keep) to 450 (another female, currently known as Fattie or Chubby). They are putting on 20-30 grams every day which is just right according to the vet.

Sounds about right, consider that a fully grown adult is only 5kg!

When they were one day old three of them were weighing less than 200gr (obviously Chubby was already quite chubby *rolls eyes*)

My goodness - how cute are they!!!!!

I am imagining that they are really really small, put a teacup or something in the pic next time so we can see exactly how tiny they are. I have never met an italian greyhound before (but as a child they were one of my coveted breeds in the dog book).

I don't know - Venice doesn't have Westonbirt, and my IG's love Westonbirt !! :)

Anyone want to meet an IG in the UK then feel free to visit my 2 - be prepared to be bounced all over. Iggies have 2 speeds - bouncing off walls and asleep under blankies.

FB - I just want more !!! Keep those piccies coming, I love the way they grow from little squishy balls to very elegant hounds (or not so elegant when they are rooting through the muck heap !).
