What do you all do, are people still vaccinating 6 monthly?
I do yearly but in march as i dont compete in the winter and they are at home so little interaction with outside horses

However, there isn't a linked scientific peer approved report to prove this.I don't have any reports but my vet told me a couple of years ago that the efficacy started to decrease markedly by 8 months, so advised that if we were out and about then 6 monthly ish was a good idea, whatever the various rules were.
They ask for proof at the shows near us when you check in. These events are held at big equestrian colleges, livery yards or country shows.I do flu ever 6 months and tet at 2 years. I have actually never been asked about the vaccine status of my horses at any competition, which I believe is peculiar to our discipline, and frankly it baffles me.
...BD, BE, BS etc are reviewing their policies. If I remember correctly only one of them plans to continue to insist upon 6 monthly vaccines but I can't remember which one it was.
Merrist Wood and Parwood are both annually for arena hire, clinics and all unaff events and have been since this time last year.Hartpury are requiring 6-monthly vaccs, so it may also depend on the venue as well as the discipline.
still having to do 6 months as our local venue (Not BE/BD etc but an equine college), is insisting on 6 months....What do you all do, are people still vaccinating 6 monthly?
