how soon after the first jab can a horse leave its homebase to travel or compete(pc)

They need to have the first and second vaccinations which are a minimum of 21 days apart then 7 days after the second one, they are ok to be out competing, but check with venue.

You need the horse to be correctly vaccinated, ie 1 and 2 jabs given, before you can compete under PC rules.

29 days from first jab. But as the other have said you need 2. Most vets prefer to give the second jab no earlier than 28 days after the first but you can get it done on day 21 if you insist. Then you need 7 clear days after the 2nd vacc before you can go out and about.
