I was wondering whether the rest of you have a similar attitude to me on this one...
I wonder if there is such a variant of flu as 'horse-owner' flu, a distant cousin of man flu! Where as other flu sufferers merely have to get through the day at work before going home to collapse, we have an entire second 'equine' job to do both before and after work! I find myself bailing on work duties in the office and taking it easy before my horse-less counterparts might, purely because I know I have to perform my equine duties as a priority.
Nobody else will do the horse for me if I am ill (other half helps but he works long hours), but I know that nobody will suffer if a few emails dont get sent for a couple of days.
Do the rest of you have this attitude towards illness as well? Or am I a wimp?!
