Ernie has told me that if i put some gay white boots on him while we trot about trying to do dressage at Blenheim, he'll try harder to be a dressage pony for me

So, i wanted some 'nice' ones but didn't have many ££s to spend, so i looked on ebay and have bought a set of N.E.W. fluffy white boots, in a med.. the seller described them perfectly, ie a set of Med. fluffy white boots etc.. there was a pic of 4 boots, 2 with 3 straps and 2 with 4 straps.. perfect i thought...
so, they arrived pretty much the next day, and i'm not sure i like the fit of them

they are the right hight but width wise, they hardly go round his legs, the boot itself covers the inside, the front and the back, but none of the outside of the legs, obviously the straps do up easily...
So i was just wondering if this is how N.E.W. boots are ment to fit??

Hmm, my gelding wears the med and he's not even 15hh but has lots of bone. They do go all the way around his legs. Hope yours work and make him be a very pretty dressage pony lol

My fluffy ones the actual boots meet all the way round, but then I bought medium ones on 15h ponies!

I have had the same problem with their boots. I have 2 horses and the large won't nearly go round either of their hindlegs. They are MW horses - not fine boned but not hugely chunky either.

I emailed NEW about it to see if I would be better with their special 'cob' ones and they didn't bother giving me the courtesy of a reply so I don't buy them any more

There's no way they're going to go all the way round..

And the way they fit, i'm guessing that a size 'large' woudn't go all the way round either

He's a 16hh TB type, with nice bone, obviously not heavy bone, but a good amount for his type..

Anyone want a nearly new (still in good condition) set of Med. N.E.W fluffy boots then????

Large fluffy ones fit the MW hunter we have. Old Dairy saddlery does some very nice ones for cheap money.

In my experience, doesn't matter what size they are those boots are hopeless and never ever fit! Plus they wash (even in a bucket!) really badly and disintergrate...my boy had some NEW meds for XC (hes a 15hh TB) and they were hopeless, and fell off XC - I had to buy a new set in the end, they were a false economy! Sorry...but good luck at Blenheim
