Thinking about trying one of the fluffy nose and covers on my tb for jumping. He is better without a martingale but I still feel I need something to encourage him a head down. He has a tendency to be all yeeee let’s go !!! Then gets to the jump like who put that there?! Recently went to a clinic where the instructor suggested trying a fluffy noseband to keep his attention a little. So, my question is, I see they come in white or black/brown. Do they have to be white to have the desired effect? As I think the brown is smarter but must be less obvious to the horse?
