fluorescent tail help for thick tail!

Hi,
Can anyone help, I want a reflective, light, or fluorescent item to put on the big cobs tail but can't find anything big enough!

I tried the equisafety one but it doesn't even meet to do up!

Any ideas? :-)
 
Will one of those fluorescent legwraps not fit?

Or have a look on ebay for some of those fluorescent legwarmers of the human type? I know it's a bit 1980s but you might find something????
 
Horze do one which is quite long and very hi-viz in orange.

I ordered one but it's too big for our 13.2hh so you know where to find one ;)
 
I have a huge one that came from robinsons years ago, not sure how they fit now. Could you use some type of hi viz leg wrap like the kind that fit over boots?
 
The leg wrap idea is perfect especially as I have a pack already in the tack room! Thanks everyone, will let you know if it works. My only concern would be that they are not elastic so may not grip tail enough, will let you know! :-)
 
That's a great idea too, wander if anyone makes a reflective hair scrunchie?! Just had a look on the horze website and they do the perfect elastic leg wrap thing and its under 2pounds but shipping is nearly 6pounds!

I've been thinking of putting a similar post on but kept forgetting to measure the tail. I have an Equi-safety thing with flashing lights which isn't big enough for Westphalian's tail (she's a Draft horse). I've put extra velcro on but the lights end up off-set. I don't really want to use a leg-wrap because I do like the lights, although I would prefer the switch to be at the top rather than the bottom, so I could switch it on while riding if necessary.
 
If you want lights for the tail, halfords & Tesco do arm band things with bright lights for cyclists. The velcro is v adjustable. Also only a few pounds a pair, could you put 1 or 2 round tail?
 
What about the hat bands may be one of them could tie round. I am the same my boys tail is bushy at the top. I have seen hi viz sweat bands in sports shops, wonder if that would fit round. You can get hi viz socks that we could cut the top off lol.

This seems like a fab idea, will pop into halfords this weekend :)
