Flush of grass after last weekends rain..... Cause of lively horse??

After 2 days of riding a ......spooky,......, I want to trot at 100 miles an hour and if you don't let me I'll buck and throw my head about evading the bit ..... new horse who I have had for 8 weeks. He is normally quite sane and sensible. It has started this week since we had rain last weekend and a flush of rich grass coming through this week. Could this be the grass?! Never had this reaction to grass with my TB mare who I have had for 18 years, she is in the same field and she is looking quite sane! There again she is 25 now and probably can't be bothered to go all crazy with grass!!!

!!some on our yard have gone a bit mad,lol,1 the girl asked today if he could have feed knocked back and nearly fell over when yard owner told her he was on next to nothing,lol!!It is like we are having the spring flush late,it affects some more than others,it should settle

yup we've had normally sane horses throw bucking fits etc too.

So glad its not the way my new horse is turning out to be! It is just the grass! How long before this passes? Never had to worry about the grass before!! Will move him off into one of the smaller well eaten fields as they are currently on 13 acres!
